Beijing, China – The International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR) and The Chinese Association of Refrigeration (CAR) signed an amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in order to extend the scope of cooperation between both organizations.

A signing ceremony took place in Beijing, on August 18th, between Mr. Guy Evon Cloutier, Chairman and CEO of CTC Group and Vice-chairman of IIAR China and Asia and Mr. Jin Jiawei, General Secretary of CAR.

The IIAR and the CAR started official cooperation in April 2015, aiming to further develop both organizations and promoting the safe use of ammonia refrigeration systems in China. After a successful first year of operations, the agreement is now being extended to promote IIAR’s publications and materials related to the usage of ammonia. These materials include industry standards and best practices, education manuals, safety training videos, safety materials, books, papers, bulletins and posters.

Both companies agree that this is an important milestone in their long-term relationship, taking the cooperation to the next level..
