Beijing to Host the 2022 Olympic Winter Games

Beijing, China - Beijing has been selected to host the 2022 Winter Olympics. The decision was taken by the International Olympic Committee during its 128th session in Kuala Lumpur this Friday 31st of July.
Beijing has already proved its worth as a successful Olympic host, having hosted the summer version of the games in 2008 and this is a great opportunity for the city to further improve its image to the world. The event is also a step forward for the Winter Dream promoted by the Chinese president Mr. Xi Jinping, committed to have 300 million Chinese citizens to participate in winter sports in the coming decade.
CTC congratulates Beijing and China for this nomination and is looking forward to continue contributing to the development of winter sports in the country.
